For starters, I found out that Raquel and I are expecting, again. We haven't found out the gender yet, but will in a couple weeks at the
No, literally. Raquel's had morning sickness previously unseen by my eyes. After we found out, she would be nauseous, sometimes, for the entire day. It sucks, because I'm used to seeing her be pretty iron-stomached with regards to nausea. But, they do say that every pregnancy is different. Raquel is pushing strong that this pregnancy will be different because it'll be a girl. I'm still not too sure, because my side of the family, we tend to pop out boys like vending-machine Life Savers.
But, stranger things have happened.
Secondly, I've received a bevy of new responsibilities at work (whoo!), which is always a good thing. It means that they trust me enough to give me more to work on. Either that or an organization is understaffed (which, in the Auto Care Association's case, isn't the case). I've been plugging away with my market intelligence team to figure out how the heck can we further push our newest publication, a study on the growth of e-Tailing in the Automotive Aftermarket, to the moon. Shameless plug, but you can find out more about that on our website if you're interested. Furthermore, on the work tip, I'm actually at a training seminar for a new UI/Hub/social networking/microsite sort-of-thing that we're going to use for our young professionals group. No, I'm not just tying this all randomly during the training. I'm at least on break. The product, Higher Logic, seems pretty easy to use (thank goodness) and isn't as broken as some others that I've seen.
But, you didn't come here to hear me gush about my job's awesomeness. You probably came for anime reviews and stuff.
Well, I haven't really watched any new series in a while. I've been revisiting Eureka 7 and getting some laughs in at the expense of the (surprisingly superb) Kill la Kill dub on Toonami. There hasn't been too much that I have been interested in, so if you know of any series, feel free to let me know.
Until next time, and I promise! It won't be months from now.
